Speak with a Navigator

One of our trained CA Bridge Connect Navigators will review your request, reach out, and work with on-the-ground navigators in your community to guide you to treatment providers who can offer quick access to proven addiction treatment medications and other support.

Get Connected to Care

We’ll refer you to a provider based on your needs, location, and preferences. Our provider network includes clinics, emergency departments, hospitals, telemedicine providers, and street medicine teams. Each is committed to making life-saving treatment easy to access in a caring, supportive environment.

What is CA Bridge Connect?

CA Bridge Connect is a platform that helps people quickly connect to medical providers who prescribe medications for addiction treatment (MAT), including for opioid use disorder. Our trained CA Bridge Connect Navigators make referrals to providers, explain treatment options, and offer ongoing support — for free and regardless of insurance.

Connect Navigators are trained professionals certified by CA Bridge. Many have lived experience with substance use and recovery and truly understand the challenges of getting help. They’ll listen, answer your questions, and help you find effective care that fits your needs.

Our Connect Navigators work with on-the-ground navigators in your community who have extensive local knowledge to make the best referrals to quick, easy-to-access medical treatment and care.

When you call or text us, you’ll be prompted to answer a few quick questions to help the Navigator understand your situation. From there, they’ll talk with you about treatment options, including medications like buprenorphine, and refer you to a provider who can help. They’re also available to answer questions about addiction treatment and overdose prevention.

CA Bridge is a program of the Bridge Center at the Public Health Institute, funded and supported by the California Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS). We’re a nonprofit organization focused on reducing overdose deaths and supporting people affected by addiction by making treatment easy to access for every Californian who needs it.

Since 2016, we’ve trained hundreds of navigators and medical providers, helping 283 hospitals across the state offer low-barrier medication for addiction treatment and connections to ongoing care. CA Bridge Connect builds on that mission by creating more ways to quickly access treatment and support.
